How do I know it's the port and not the cable?+
Try a known-good cable. If a fresh cable doesn't work either, it's almost always the port.
Will wireless charging still work?+
Yes — wireless charging uses a different coil and is unaffected.
Can I just buy a wireless pad instead?+
You can, but you'll lose CarPlay, data transfer, and fast wired charge. Best to fix the port.
